This Day the wholesome things have been permitted to you, and the food of those who were given the Book is permitted to you, and your food is permitted to them, the chaste woman from the believers and the chaste woman from the people of the Book who were given the Book before you if you are giving dowry desiring chastity, without entering in fornication, and not to give birth to bastards; whoever hides his faith, all his deeds become in vain, and he will be among the losers in the Hereafter.
Today whole of mankind in the world is included in the people of the Book mentioned in this verse. So the believer can eat all their foods, especially vegetables and fish; like that he can also marry any woman with her parent’s permission except the prohibited women as explained in verses 2: 136 and 4: 163-164. But he has to give dowry to the women's side and he should protect her under the Light of Adhikr. Thus, she will not do anything without the remembrance of the Lord, and that both they can bring up righteous and honorable children. Since this is the last era, the odd believer prefers to lead a bachelor's life considering Maryam (the mother of Jesus) and Asia (the woman of Pharaoh) as a role model as explained in verse 2: 187. And if he is unable to control his sexual passion, he can marry any woman from mankind if she is ready to live under the light of Best Book Adhikr. However, he can’t marry any Fujjar lady today, as they are either Mushriks or hypocrites and through them, only bastards will be produced as explained in verse 2: 221. See explanation 2: 121; 4: 137-140, and 8: 22.
